A day at camp

Ten till three, and gloriously muddy.

Camps run week by week, Monday to Friday. Each day has a shape, and plenty of room inside it for children to choose their own adventure.

  1. Drop-off

Park where the attendants show you, then walk your child to the Warrior drop-off zone and sign them in.

  2. Morning

    Into tribes

Every child joins a tribe for the week. Challenges only work when the whole tribe pulls together, so the quiet ones get heard too.

  3. Lunch

    Lunch under the trees

Packed lunches in the woods. Pack plenty: hungry warriors are a real thing.

  4. Afternoon

    Dens, forts and games

Building forts, capture the flag, hammocks in the trees, and free play wherever their imagination takes them.

  5. Pick-up

Walk over to the sign-out zone and collect them: muddy, tired and full of stories.

“They came home every evening covered in mud and slept like logs. A refreshing change!”

What to bring

“There’s no such thing as bad weather, just unsuitable clothing.”

  • A packed lunch and a drink

Plenty of food, and nothing with nuts.

  • Clothes for the woods

Old clothes that can get muddy, and a rain jacket. We have shelter for heavy showers.

  • Sun cream, on before they arrive

If the sun is shining, please put it on at home.

  • No phones or smartwatches

Devices stay at home. The woods are enough.

Questions parents ask

Good to know before day one.

Something else on your mind?

info@warriorcamp.ie
Who looks after the children?

Every member of our team is Garda vetted, and our child-centred safeguarding policy guides everything we do. Bullying, name-calling and leaving others out aren’t accepted, and every session starts with simple safety rules for everyone.

What happens if it rains?

We play in parts of the forest with good tree cover, the forts the children build keep the rain off, and we have covered facilities for heavy showers. Dress them for the weather and they’ll love it.

How do drop-off and pick-up work?

Follow the parking attendants, then walk your child to the Warrior drop-off and pick-up zone to sign them in and out. Please don’t call your child over to you. Keep to the one-way system and 5 km/h on site.

My child has allergies or a medical condition

Tell us when you book so the camp team knows before day one.

Can my child be in a tribe with a friend?

Let us know and we’ll do our best to put them together.

What if I’m running late for pick-up?

Late collection carries an extra charge, and we can’t be responsible for children outside camp hours.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Cancel up to 7 days before camp starts for a 50% refund. Within 7 days we can’t offer a refund.
